Follow the Flashlight
Catch the light – flashlight fun to develop motor skills.

Materials
Flashlight.
How to Play
With the room lights low, shine a flashlight beam near your child so they see it. Move it around the floors, walls and ceiling so they are looking at it around the room with their eyes. Encourage your child to move around the room to catch the light.
Some Tips
Be sure to move tripping hazards that may be difficult to see in dim light. You might need to demonstrate catching the light first. Be sure to let your child catch it sometimes.
Make it Easier
Move the light slowly to areas that are easy to get to.
Make it Harder
Move the light faster and to areas your child would need to climb to, or move around objects to get to.
