What's Missing?

Setup
0-5 minutes
Time required
As long as your child is engaged and you don’t run out of objects!
Materials
A plate (optional) and some small items (spoon, ball, stuffed animal etc.).
How to Play
Put three or four objects on a plate and tell your child to look at them. Ask them to close their eyes (or put a pillow over them) and take one item away. When your child opens their eyes, ask them to guess what item is missing.
Some Tips
You can focus on letters, numbers, shapes, or kitchen items.
Make it Easier
Use only a few familiar items.
Make it Harder
Use more than four objects or mix numbers and letters.
